The municipality of Candelaria has successfully concluded the workshop "Elaboration of Preserves with Local Products" with high participation. This activity, part of the local Agroecology Program, took place at the Juan Ravina Fishing Center and drew many residents interested in learning traditional food preservation methods.
For two hours, participants gained hands-on experience in preparing jams, marmalades, chutneys, semi-preserves, and compotes using exclusively local produce. The session also included educational components on healthy eating and responsible sugar consumption, aligning with the municipality's sustainability and well-being objectives.
