The town of Benijos, in the municipality of La Orotava, will be the setting for a new edition of the Livestock Exhibition and Fair on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event, which will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, aims to highlight the livestock tradition and rural heritage of the area.
Attendees will be able to enjoy an exhibition of animals from various breeds, including bovine, ovine, equine, caprine, and mule. Additionally, the day will feature different traditional activities designed to immerse visitors in rural culture.
The program includes the blessing of the livestock at 12:00 PM, followed by a traditional threshing demonstration at 1:00 PM. Later, at 3:30 PM, the traditional mule ring events will take place.
This fair represents an opportunity to connect with local roots and enjoy a day dedicated to the livestock sector and the rich rural culture of La Orotava.
