The La Orotava City Council has launched a special campaign for Mother's Day, combining the promotion of local commerce with an attractive leisure program that includes a travel voucher raffle and a magic festival.

Under the slogan “Mom, you are the queen of hearts,” the Commerce department of La Orotava has designed an initiative aimed at revitalizing the local economy. The main novelty this year is the raffle of travel vouchers among customers who choose local establishments for their Mother's Day purchases.
To participate in the raffle, citizens must make their purchases in La Orotava stores between April 20 and 30. For each transaction, they will receive a coupon to deposit in the official urn, located at the Municipal Tourist Office, on Carrera Escultor Estévez street. Those who cannot do so earlier will have a final opportunity on Saturday, May 2, until 13:00, in Plaza Franchy Alfaro, where the final raffle will take place.

"This campaign represents an opportunity to celebrate such a special date while fostering economic activity."

The central event of the celebration will be the VIII Magic Festival, held on Saturday, May 2, from 11:00 to 13:30, in Plaza Franchy Alfaro. This festival, already established on the island, will feature renowned illusionists, including a world magic award winner, a charismatic illusionist who reached the semifinals of a well-known talent show, and a festival veteran. The show will be hosted by a popular social media communicator.
The event's organization, managed by specialized companies, has designed an interactive show promising illusion and entertainment for all ages, solidifying La Orotava's position as a benchmark in commerce and culture in northern Tenerife.
