The La Orotava Municipal Public Library has announced a new edition of its reading and oral expression workshop, aimed at children aged eight and over during August.

The initiative, which will take place between August 3 and 7, aims to encourage reading habits and enhance the communication skills of the participants. Sessions will be held in the morning, from 10:30 to 13:00, at the cultural center facilities.
The program uses stories as a central tool to stimulate the creativity, self-esteem, and imagination of the young attendees. Through participatory dynamics, the goal is for children to strengthen their expression skills in an educational and motivating environment.
As a complement to the children's training, an informative talk for families will be held on August 13 between 18:00 and 19:30. This meeting will provide guidelines on the importance of reading at an early age and strategies to consolidate this habit at home.
