The self-service kiosks, located at the Casa Consistorial and the Local Police facilities, have issued a total of 5,550 travel and residency certificates since their installation in late September 2025 until mid-July 2026.
One kiosk operates at the Casa Consistorial from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, while the second, at the Local Police station, is available 24/7, all year round.
In 2025, 1,983 certificates were issued (1,047 for travel and 936 for residency). So far in 2026, the figure stands at 3,567 (2,066 for travel and 1,501 for residency).
Mayor Francisco Linares has positively assessed the service's reception, highlighting its immediacy, freeness, and simplicity. Municipal staff provide assistance to those who need it.
To use the totems, users must identify themselves with their electronic DNI or digital certificate and select the desired option from the main menu.
The council plans to expand the services offered by these kiosks, incorporating new municipal services and the possibility of booking appointments.
Sergio Martín, the councilor for Electronic Modernization, emphasizes the efficiency provided by these devices, reducing the workload of the General Registry and waiting times.
