The renewed virtual training platform, accessible at formacionlosrealejos.com, is an initiative promoted by the council and its Local Development Agency. Since its launch in 2016, a total of 4,797 residents have used this resource, with 4,068 certificates issued for completed courses.
Mayor Adolfo González encouraged residents to take advantage of this training opportunity, highlighting the flexibility of studying from home and organizing their own schedule. The offer covers 12 professional families, including 'Administration and management', 'Commerce and marketing', 'Hospitality and tourism', 'Languages', 'Information technology and communications', and 'Health', among others.
The staff of the Local Development Agency is responsible for verifying the residency of applicants to activate their access to the courses. Participants can download PDF manuals for their study.
The Councilor for Employment, Natalia Díaz, recalled that this online offer is complemented by quarterly in-person courses. Currently, there are open registrations for training such as 'Handling of phytosanitary products', 'Occupational risk prevention', and 'Forklift operation'.
