Three Arrested for Violent Robberies in Puerto de la Cruz

A man and two women were apprehended in Tenerife for intimidating and assaulting individuals to steal money and valuables.

The National Police have arrested three individuals, one man and two women, as alleged perpetrators of three violent robbery and intimidation offenses committed during the early hours in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife.

The assaults took place in the central area of the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of the island of Tenerife. The investigation began in mid-March after the first report was received.
In the initial incident, one victim was approached by several individuals who forced her to withdraw money from a nearby ATM, under threat of being stabbed. During the assault, the affected person suffered violent aggressions that required emergency medical attention.
Subsequently, two more reports were filed detailing similar events. In both cases, the victims were compelled to hand over money and personal belongings through intimidating behavior and physical assaults.
Investigative efforts allowed officers to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrators, two women and one man, at the hotel where they were staying. It was determined that all of them actively participated in the commission of the crimes.
The detainees were brought before the competent judicial authority, which ordered the imprisonment of two of them.
