The Procurement Department of the Tacoronte City Council, led by Eduardo Dávila, recently awarded the contract for low-voltage works to ensure a permanent electricity supply in the central Plaza de La Estación and its immediate public surroundings to the company SR6 Domótica y Electricidad S.L.
This contract, promoted in coordination with the Public Lighting and Electrification Area, directed by councilor Suso Machado, concludes the bidding process that began last summer. The final cost amounts to €196,833, with a maximum execution period of six months.
The investment includes the installation of distribution panels in the control centers of the square and on the Carretera Tacoronte – Tejina TF-16 (opposite the Municipal Market). These will serve as standardized connection bases and independent protection according to the type of load.
These resources will address a historical deficiency in electrical installations in the city's commercial heart, prioritizing service stability during episodes of extraordinary consumption. Furthermore, significant economic savings are expected for the municipal coffers thanks to modern, versatile equipment that complies with current legislation.
