A winery in Santa Brígida has released a limited edition white wine featuring a label designed by a local artist, aiming to capture the essence of the Villa and its history, paying homage to the locality.

Bodega Ventura, renowned for its internationally awarded wines, has introduced a special edition dry white wine. The label for this bottle, named Tasaute, was created by a local artist, known for his abstract and cubist style, who also serves as a police officer in the Villa.
The idea for this collaboration emerged over a year ago, with the goal of creating a label that would reflect the identity of Santa Brígida. The name Tasaute, which refers to the aboriginal designation of the area, emphasizes the connection to the place's roots and history.

"The only premise was that Santa Brígida had to be very present, and we set ourselves the goal of having a label for a dry white wine, limited edition, whose name would be Tasaute, as the aborigines knew what later became Sataute and subsequently Santa Brígida."

The chosen design for the label depicts the historic town center of the Villa, with distinctive elements such as the Calle Real and the parish church in the background, seeking to capture the essence of Santa Brígida. The initiative has been very well received, and the label is already participating in a local competition for the best wine label.
This collaboration not only celebrates art and wine but also strengthens the winery's deep connection to its land and community. The back of the bottle includes a message highlighting the wine's link to the volcanic and Atlantic landscape of the island, and how the label's image serves as a visual tribute to the Villa de Santa Brígida.
