The 10th Edition of the Arucas Associations Meeting took place at the Lomo Jurgón Nature Classroom, with the aim of boosting collaboration and knowledge exchange among the municipality's entities. The event served as a platform for various associations and organizations in Arucas to share their experiences, projects, and management models already implemented in different neighborhoods and social spheres.
The gathering was conceived as a dynamic space for sharing needs and defining joint lines of action, facilitating the identification of potential avenues for cooperation. Additionally, the program included the presentation of successful tools and management models from other municipalities, such as the experience of the Artemi Neighborhood Association from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which shared its approach to the organization and internal functioning of neighborhood entities.
“"This type of initiative is part of its commitment to generating meeting spaces that promote citizen participation and strengthen collective work in the municipality."
The tenth edition of the meeting fostered dialogue and mutual learning, with the goal of establishing stable networks and opening new opportunities for collaboration. The Department of Citizen Participation positively assessed the involvement of the participating entities, emphasizing the importance of associations in the social, cultural, and community life of Arucas.
