The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has reported the activation of the yellow level on several islands of the archipelago. The maximum forecast temperatures will range between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius.
In addition to the heat, strong storms are expected, which could accumulate up to 20 liters per square meter in one hour, accompanied by hail. The day will also be marked by the presence of dust in suspension at high altitudes.
The yellow alert remains active in Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Gomera, Lanzarote, and El Hierro. These alerts cover high temperatures, adverse coastal phenomena, and strong winds with gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour.
