The police operation, carried out by the Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit (UDYCO) of Las Palmas, began after receiving information about a property allegedly used for the distribution of narcotics. Investigations, which lasted several months, confirmed that the residence functioned as a sales point frequented by numerous consumers.
The location of the property, near educational, health, and sports centers, as well as areas frequented by minors and students, was a significant factor in the police action. After gathering sufficient evidence, a search of the residence was conducted with the participation of several specialized units.
During the search, officers seized 3.85 kilos of cocaine, 15 kilos of hashish, and 162 grams of marijuana, totaling over 18.9 kilos of substances. Additionally, 23,915 euros in cash, a vehicle, a blank-firing pistol, two stun guns, a balaclava, and a baseball bat were confiscated.
The arrested individual is provisionally charged with drug trafficking. Following the completion of police proceedings, he was brought before the judicial authority, which ordered his imprisonment.
