Officers from the Canarian Police's Complaints and Investigation Group (GDI) apprehended an individual in a public street in the Schamann neighborhood after conducting inquiries to locate him. It was known that the wanted person might be in this area of the Gran Canaria capital.
The arrested individual possesses a significant record of police and judicial antecedents. These include offenses such as assault, domestic and gender violence, theft, threats, forgery of public documents, burglary, religious mockery, identity theft, fraud, and assaulting law enforcement officers.
The GDI's investigative efforts focused on determining the man's movements and whereabouts. These actions ultimately led to his identification on the street and confirmation of the active judicial order, resulting in his arrest.
Following the apprehension, the regional police officers completed the necessary procedures and handed the individual over to the competent judicial authority to proceed with the established legal process.
This operation is part of the ongoing efforts by the Canarian Police to investigate and locate individuals wanted by the justice system, within their jurisdictional powers.
