Two men have been injured in separate stabbing incidents recorded in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria between Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

The first incident occurred at a cafeteria located at a gas station on the Carretera Nueva de San Lorenzo, in the Tamaraceite area. According to reports, an argument escalated into an assault where an individual wounded another with a bladed weapon in the ear. The victim was transported to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital for medical treatment.
Although the alleged attacker fled the scene before authorities arrived, their identity is being analyzed through security camera footage from the establishment. The National Police have taken over the investigation to clarify the circumstances of the altercation.
The second assault took place during the early hours at a nightclub located on Fernando Guanarteme Street. In this instance, the victim suffered several stab wounds to the right arm after being attacked by at least two individuals. Following the alert, emergency services arrived at the scene and transported the victim to the Insular Hospital.
Security forces are currently searching for those responsible for this second attack, based on witness statements collected at the venue. Both incidents have prompted a coordinated response from the Local Police and the National Police in the capital of Gran Canaria.
