In an interview with COPE Gran Canaria, Hernández explained that the agreement with CC in Arucas stems from the autonomy of local assemblies, a fundamental principle of his party. The collaboration is based on coinciding proposals for economic development, housing, and culture in the municipality.
This local pact, the first to be materialized, could be the beginning of other agreements in different municipalities. Hernández stated that "some more will happen," although he avoided specifying locations such as Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or San Bartolomé de Tirajana out of respect for the decisions of the local assemblies.

The leader of Municipalistas Canarias Primero emphasized the importance of nationalist unity for the defense of the archipelago, stating that "with division, we do not win, quite the opposite." He assured that in Madrid they would be "happier" to see Canarians divided. His party has proposed a "unity table" and is confident that "there are many more things that unite us than divide us," not ruling out agreements with other formations like Nueva Canarias.

The only party with which Municipalistas Canarias Primero does not consider pacts is VOX. Hernández described their positions as "unconstitutional" and "absolutely sectarian," arguing that it makes no sense to ally with those who do not defend autonomies. Faced with those who see the agreement as a mere "electoral strategy," he defended the "essence of politics" through the search for agreements. He ruled out integration into CC, advocating for a "confluence" where each force maintains its organization.
