More than one hundred professionals from Hospital Perpetuo Socorro (HPS) participated in the 10th edition of the CANARIAS7 Carrera de las Empresas in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, making it one of the most represented entities.
Hospital Perpetuo Socorro (HPS) reaffirmed its commitment to health and sports by being one of the main participants in the tenth edition of the CANARIAS7 Carrera de las Empresas, held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Over one hundred professionals from the hospital group took part in the event, doubling the number of participants compared to the previous year.
The significant presence of HPS staff made the hospital group one of the most represented entities in the race. In addition to promoting physical activity and team cohesion, HPS was responsible for ensuring healthcare assistance throughout the event.
“
"The race proceeded normally, and we only had to perform a couple of transfers for evaluation and definitive treatment at the hospital. The rest of the minor assistance cases were attended to on-site and were related to the physical exertion typical of these sporting events."
The medical team was coordinated by Federico Lübbe, an Intensive Care Medicine Specialist, who noted that the incidents were minor and typical of the competition's physical demands.
HPS also sponsored the two children's races, underscoring its commitment to sports and healthy habits from an early age. Eva Molina Barber, manager of Kala by HPS and Commercial Director of Marketing and Communication for the hospital group, expressed her pride in the participation.
“
"It is a source of pride to participate once again in the CANARIAS7 Carrera de las Empresas, an event that perfectly represents values with which we strongly identify: teamwork, effort, well-being, and commitment to people."
“
"Seeing the involvement and energy of the entire team is very exciting. From HPS, we will continue to support initiatives that promote healthy lifestyles and spaces for coexistence among companies and professionals."
