The Civil Guard conducted an operation in Lomo Caleta, Telde, leading to the sealing of nine illegal constructions and the disconnection of their water supply, in compliance with a judicial order.

On April 16, 2026, officers from the Civil Guard Command of Las Palmas intervened in the area known as Lomo Caleta, located within the municipality of Telde. This action was carried out in conjunction with personnel from the local Investigating Court.
The operation's objective was to enforce a judicial order, which resulted in the sealing and cessation of nine unauthorized construction projects. These buildings were part of an unapproved development in the area.
In addition to closing down the constructions, authorities proceeded to cut off the water supply that served these properties, ensuring the complete halt of illegal activity in the zone.
