The image of Mary Help of Christians was transferred this Friday from the parish of Santa Catalina de Alejandría to Santo Domingo de Guzmán in Vegueta, as part of the preparations for its Canonical Coronation.

This relocation is part of the scheduled events for the Canonical Coronation of the image, which will take place on May 2nd at the Cathedral of Canarias. The figure will remain in the Vegueta parish until April 30th, when its final transfer to the Cathedral is planned.
The recognition of the image of Mary Help of Christians coincides with the centenary of its blessing and 103 years of the Salesian Family's presence in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
