Patricia Aranda has decided to end her tenure with Heidelberg, a club with which she has achieved notable successes over the past two seasons. Under her leadership on the court, the Gran Canaria team has experienced significant growth, establishing itself in the elite of national volleyball.
During her time with the club, Heidelberg has secured important trophies, including a Liga Iberdrola, a Spanish Super Cup, and two runner-up finishes in the Copa de la Reina. These achievements have been crucial in laying the foundation for a project that, with only six years of history, has already competed in European tournaments such as the CEV Zeren Group Champions League and the CEV Cup.
Aranda, who joined the collegiate discipline in the 2024/2025 season, quickly became a key player. In addition to her contribution to the club, she has represented Spain in international competitions, participating in the 2025 Thailand World Championship and achieving Spain's first victory in a world championship in over four decades.
CD Heidelberg has expressed its gratitude to Patricia Aranda for her dedication, commitment, and the example she has set over these two seasons, wishing her the greatest success in her future professional and personal endeavors. She leaves behind an indelible legacy at the Gran Canaria institution.
