The distinction, awarded in recognition of his career and professional work, was presented this Monday at the Jesús Arencibia Cultural Space in the Gran Canarian capital. During the ceremony, Ramos was accompanied by the mayor of Telde, Juan Antonio Peña; the chief of the Local Police of Telde, Félix Ramos; and several colleagues from the force.
This recognition highlights the commitment of the sub-inspector from Telde to public service. The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council has included José Luis Ramos González among those honored in this edition of its police awards.
The mayor of Telde, Juan Antonio Peña, personally conveyed the congratulations on behalf of the municipality, emphasizing the pride it brings to the city that a member of its Local Police receives such an award. Peña stated that "this medal is a recognition of a professional career and years of dedication to public service. From Telde, we want to extend our congratulations to José Luis Ramos and also recognize the work he carries out daily alongside the entire Local Police force."
The Telde City Council values the sub-inspector's career and his contribution to security and citizen service, as well as the joint effort with the rest of the Local Police members.
