The Councilor for Local Development of the Telde City Council, Nayra Navarro, recently visited the establishments Compra Natural Canarias in San Gregorio and Ferretería y Saneamientos Costa Salinas in Salinetas. The aim of these visits was to understand their activities firsthand and reaffirm the local government's support for the municipality's business and commercial fabric.
During the meetings, the municipal official congratulated both businesses for their developed trajectory and their contribution to diversifying and revitalizing Telde's economic activity, particularly emphasizing their commitment to offering specialized, quality products and services.
"From the City Council, we want to be close to our shops and businesses, to know their stories, their needs, and also to recognize the effort behind every business that opens its doors and manages to establish itself over time. Compra Natural Canarias and Ferretería y Saneamientos Costa Salinas are two excellent examples of entrepreneurship, professionalism, and commitment to Telde," stated Nayra Navarro.
The councilor added that "local commerce is a fundamental piece for the economic and social development of our city. Therefore, from Local Development, we will continue promoting actions that favor the growth of our companies and supporting those who are committed to starting businesses and generating activity and employment in the municipality."
Compra Natural Canarias, run by Sara Cano, is celebrating its third anniversary with a physical store in the San Gregorio Open Commercial Zone. The business project, which began six years ago online, specializes in natural cosmetics and hair care, offering personalized advice at its location on Alonso Quesada street.
Meanwhile, Ferretería y Saneamientos Costa Salinas, managed by Jorge Manuel Santana Ramos, marks 12 years of activity in the coastal area of Telde. The establishment has become a commercial benchmark in Salinetas and the wider municipality, offering a wide range of products, materials, and tools for construction, renovations, and maintenance, serving both professionals and individuals.
Nayra Navarro highlighted the businesses' capacity for adaptation and specialization, stating that "behind every established business there are years of work, effort, and a constant commitment to offering the best service." The Telde City Council thus continues its approach of engaging with the municipal business and commercial sector, valuing the work of companies that generate employment and boost the local economy.
