Transport reinforcement for Lanzarote's Fiestas de Los Dolores

The Cabildo enables a special public transport service with 22 buses for the Romería and other events, aiming for safe and sustainable mobility.

The Cabildo of Lanzarote has organized a special public transport service for the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores in Mancha Blanca, strengthening bus services to facilitate travel during the main events.

The Transport Area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has enabled a special public transport service for the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores 2026. The objective is to facilitate travel for residents and visitors, promoting safer and more sustainable mobility during the events scheduled in Mancha Blanca.
The special operation includes reinforcing bus services during the Romería de Los Dolores on Saturday, September 12th, as well as additional services for religious events and the concert on Tuesday, September 15th. A total of 22 buses will be available for the Romería operation.
The president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, highlighted the effort to ensure citizens can enjoy the festivities with guarantees, encouraging the use of public transport over private vehicles. For his part, the Minister of Transport, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, explained that the operation focuses on days with higher demand, adapting routes and schedules to traffic conditions and potential road closures.
For the Romería on Saturday, September 12th, there will be special outbound services from Arrecife to Mancha Blanca between 12:00 PM and 11:00 PM, with a frequency of approximately 30 minutes. Return services will run from 1:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Sunday, September 13th. The final outbound destination will be Mancha Blanca until 4:00 PM and from 11:00 PM onwards, while between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM it will terminate in Tinguatón.
On Tuesday, September 15th, special services will be available for religious events (outbound 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, return 10:15 AM and 3:30 PM from Arrecife) and for the concert by Malú (outbound 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, return 11:30 PM and 12:00 AM), with the possibility of adding more trips based on demand.
Additionally, a Joint Taxi Service Zone will be established in Tinajo on Saturday, September 12th (9:00 PM - 5:00 AM) and Monday, September 14th (11:00 PM - 5:00 AM on Tuesday, September 15th), to boost supply during peak hours and improve coordination with the taxi sector.
