The cultural event has recorded a significant public response, highlighting the sold-out opening performance held in the Santa Catalina area. During the first part of the event, 64 performances corresponding to 31 different shows were held, achieving high citizen participation in the various venues provided.
The organization has positively assessed the reception of the festival, emphasizing the diversity of the proposals and the interest shown by attendees in the different artistic disciplines. The festival's dynamics have allowed for a constant flow of spectators between the various locations, even during simultaneous programming.
Looking ahead to the closing week, which will take place from September 24 to 26, the festival will offer 21 new proposals spread over 32 performances. The program will include premieres in the archipelago from companies from Germany, France, Argentina, and Italy-Guatemala, in addition to a significant presence of local and national productions.
The multidisciplinary offer for the final days will integrate contemporary circus, hybrid theater, and musical performances by the City Symphonic Band and the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra. Activities will continue this Thursday with performances at the Plaza de Canarias and behind Santa Catalina Park.
