Two individuals have been apprehended in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in connection with the theft of jewelry and cash from a residence, following an investigation that led to the recovery of the stolen items.

The National Police has successfully resolved a home invasion and theft in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, leading to the arrest of a man, identified as the alleged perpetrator, and a woman, involved in the sale of the stolen goods.
The investigation began on April 12, when a woman filed a report stating that the previous day, while she was away from her home, unknown individuals gained entry by forcing a window. Numerous pieces of jewelry were stolen, including chains, bracelets, rings, watches, and other personal effects, along with small amounts of cash.
The inquiries conducted by the Judicial Police Group revealed the sale of several of these jewelry items at gold buying and selling establishments in the city. A woman was identified as the seller, having carried out various transactions between April 14 and April 21.
The woman was arrested at one of these establishments while attempting to sell another stolen piece of jewelry. During the intervention, other previously commercialized lots were also recovered. The detainee informed investigators that a man had provided her with the jewelry in exchange for her company. This man was subsequently identified and arrested on April 28 as the alleged perpetrator of a home robbery with force.
The police managed to recover all the stolen jewelry lots, which were recognized by the victim and subsequently returned as a deposit. Finally, both detainees have been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
