The capital's City Council has issued a reminder about the imminent end of the voluntary payment period for five municipal fees and taxes. The deadline to meet these obligations without incurring additional surcharges is this Friday, June 26.
As reported by the Council's Tax Management Body, the taxes included in this first phase of the annual fiscal calendar are the Motor Vehicle Tax (IVTM), commonly known as the road tax, the Vados (parking access) fee, the Tables and Chairs fee, and the first semesters of the Fairs and Markets fee and the Sunbeds and Boats fee.
For taxpayers who opted for direct debit, whose receipts were charged on May 22, the process is now complete. Direct debit payments were effective on June 5.

The City Council facilitates compliance with these obligations through various payment methods, eliminating the need for physical travel. Citizens can obtain their receipts by calling the telephone service 010 (or 928 446 000 if calling from outside the municipality) or by downloading them directly from the Virtual Tax Office.
Additionally, payment by bank card is possible through the municipal telematic platform or at the ATMs of collaborating entities using the barcode. It is also possible to consult and pay outstanding receipts using digital identification systems such as electronic certificates, electronic DNI, or secure keys.
The City Council has already announced that the second phase of the fiscal calendar will begin on July 24 and extend until November 27. During this period, taxes such as the Real Estate Tax (IBI), the Economic Activities Tax (IAE), the Special Characteristics Real Estate Tax (IBICE), as well as fees for Advertising, ATMs, and the second semesters of the Fairs and Markets and Sunbeds fees can be paid.
