Under the slogan The true red thread that unites us, the General Directorate of Blood Donation and Hemotherapy of the Canary Islands Health Service has installed a mobile unit in Santa Brígida. The aim is to facilitate blood donation for the municipality's residents.
The unit will be located at Calle Nueva, number 13, next to the Town Hall, on Monday 28, Tuesday 29, and Thursday 30 of September. The healthcare team will attend donors from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:45 PM.
The requirements to donate blood include being between 18 and 65 years old (up to 70 years old for a first-time donation), weighing over 50 kg, being in good general health, and not being pregnant.
