Regarding fixed donation points in Gran Canaria, the headquarters at Alfonso XIII street, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is open from Monday to Wednesday from 9:15 to 20:30 and on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:15 to 20:30 (except holidays). The fixed point in Santa Lucía de Tirajana, at the Vecindario Health Center, operates on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:15 to 20:15, Tuesdays from 10:15 to 13:15 and from 17:15 to 20:15, and Thursdays and Fridays from 9:15 to 13:15.
Other fixed points within the hospital network include the Insular Hospital (Monday to Friday, 10:30 to 19:30), the Maternal and Child Hospital (Monday to Friday, 10:30 to 14:00), and the Gran Canaria Dr. Negrín University Hospital (Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 19:30). At Hospiten Roca San Agustín, donations can be made on Fridays from 8:00 to 14:00, by appointment.
Basic requirements for blood donation include being between eighteen and 65 years old (up to sixty for a first donation), weighing over fifty kilograms, and being in good general health.
