The Telde City Council will hold an informational meeting this Thursday, November 5th, at the main entrance of the Municipal Market for individuals and entrepreneurs interested in occupying one of the 21 available stalls.

The Telde City Council has called for this Thursday, November 5th, at 10:30 AM, a meeting aimed at all individuals and entrepreneurs interested in developing a commercial activity in one of the 21 stalls at the Municipal Market. The meeting will take place at the main entrance of the facility, located on Calle Poeta Pablo Neruda.
This meeting will allow potential assignees to learn firsthand about the available spaces, the current condition of the facilities, and the opportunities the market offers for launching new businesses. The deadline for submitting proposals to occupy the vacant stalls remains open until November 19th.
The council aims to attract both traditional merchants, interested in stalls for fruits, vegetables, meat, or fish, and entrepreneurs looking to introduce new gastronomic offerings, local products, or other commercial activities compatible with the venue.
The Telde Municipal Market is in the final stages of preparation for its reopening. The facilities are practically ready, awaiting only the official record for the electricity supply from the Government of the Canary Islands.
“

"We want those considering opening a business in the Municipal Market to be able to come, see the stalls, and personally assess the possibilities this space offers. We have 21 available units and want them to be occupied by projects that help revive the market's commercial activity."

Juan Antonio Peña · Mayor of Telde
“

"We aim to have a market where residents can buy fruit, vegetables, meat, or fish, but also open doors to new gastronomic proposals and local products. The important thing is that there is activity, that the stalls are occupied, and that the market becomes part of Telde's daily life again."

Juan Antonio Peña · Mayor of Telde
“

"We are very close to recovering the Municipal Market. While this last issue is being resolved, we are working to ensure the stalls have activity and traders can prepare their projects. That's why we encourage all interested individuals to attend this Thursday and take advantage of the proposal submission period."

Juan Antonio Peña · Mayor of Telde
Interested parties wishing to apply for one of the 21 available stalls can submit their proposals until Thursday, November 19th, in accordance with the conditions established in the award procedure. The bases, participation requirements, deadlines, and tender documents are available for consultation on the Contractor's Profile on the electronic headquarters of the Telde City Council and on the Public Sector Contracting Platform.
For additional information, individuals can visit the municipal building of El Cubillo in person or contact via email at crismoreno@telde.es. The City Council invites traders and entrepreneurs to attend Thursday's meeting to resolve any doubts before deciding to participate.
