The Telde City Council has opened the application period for the award of 21 commercial stalls in the new Municipal Market, a key step for its upcoming opening and the economic revitalization of the urban center.

The Telde City Council has taken another step towards the operational launch of the Municipal Market by opening the procedure to grant 21 authorizations for the occupation of commercial stalls. The call for applications, published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), is available on the Contractor's Profile and the Telde City Council's Notice Board.
This initiative aims to transform the market, located on Calle Poeta Pablo Neruda, into an economic and commercial hub. The facility features 21 stalls of various sizes, 10 on the entrance floor and 11 on the upper floor, with municipal fees starting from 36 euros per month.
The awarding procedure will be based on three criteria: the economic proposal, commercial diversity (valuing new activities and products), and residency in Telde, to promote the local economy.
The stalls will be delivered fully finished with infrastructure for utilities, with successful applicants responsible for contracting individual services and obtaining necessary permits. This will expedite the integration of new economic operators and the preparation of establishments.
The publication of the call coincides with the final preparations for the market's opening, awaiting the finalization of the electrical supply. The objective is to complete the process as soon as possible so that traders and citizens can enjoy the renovated facilities.
