The municipal radio workshop in El Rosario received a visit yesterday afternoon from the renowned journalist Juan Carlos Castañeda. With a radio career spanning more than four decades, Castañeda offered a masterclass to the participants of this training initiative. The workshop will run until the end of October at the facilities of the municipal station Onda Joven El Rosario (103.6 FM).
During the event, held in a friendly and participatory atmosphere, the journalist shared valuable experiences from his extensive career, anecdotes from the world of communication, and numerous practical tips on radio work. His explanations allowed attendees to better understand the daily reality of this medium and learn firsthand about the keys to radio production.
The mayor of El Rosario, Escolástico Gil, was also present at the session and took the opportunity to present the journalist with an institutional gift as a token of appreciation for his valuable collaboration.
This municipal training initiative offers free education to all individuals interested in discovering how radio works and acquiring basic knowledge in areas such as voice-over, diction, writing, and radio production. The goal is to enable participants to develop and present their own program projects for future broadcast on Onda Joven El Rosario.
