The General Directorate of Hemodonation and Hemotherapy has organized a wide deployment of mobile units across the archipelago. This initiative aims to facilitate public participation and ensure the supply of blood products, which are vital for surgeries, cancer treatments, and transplants.
In the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, the campaign continues on July 27th and 28th on Avenida de Canarias, in Vecindario. Additionally, the fixed donation point located at the Vecindario Health Center annex maintains its regular schedule from Monday to Friday.
The agency emphasizes that blood cannot be manufactured artificially, making altruistic donations the only way to guarantee medical care. Interested individuals are encouraged to check specific schedules for each island through official channels.
