The Accident Investigation Unit of the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has detected a serious traffic violation. Officers caught a 40-year-old female driver traveling at 110 km/h on an urban avenue where the maximum speed limit is 40 km/h.
The speeding incident occurred on Avenida Luis Celso García Guadalupe, located in the Añaza neighborhood. The investigated driver was nearly tripling the established speed limit for the road, constituting a suspected offense against road safety.
The infraction was recorded on May 13th, around 11:15 AM, when the vehicle passed the Local Police's speed detection device. The driver's details have been communicated to the relevant judicial authorities for the corresponding trial.
