The police intervention followed a Static Control Device (DEC) programmed by the Local Police in the area. Around 9:00 PM, officers stopped a white Seat Ibiza vehicle carrying two men.
After identifying both occupants and checking the vehicle's documentation, members of the Canine Unit of the Santa Cruz Local Police intervened. The police dog indicated a backpack, alerting to the possible presence of narcotic substances.
An officer searched the backpack and found hashish, marijuana, and medication inside. The arrested individual confirmed the substances were his property, leading to his arrest.
Before being taken to police facilities for judicial processing, the car was impounded at the municipal vehicle depot.
