Officers responded to the scene around 3:00 AM following neighbor complaints about noise and a gathering of approximately 15 people consuming alcoholic beverages in public, accompanied by several vehicles with loud sound systems.
During the operation, several individuals confronted the officers, necessitating a request for backup to manage the situation. A 50-year-old man, identified as R.C.C., refused to provide identification and obstructed the police intervention, engaging in a physical struggle. He was subdued and arrested, subsequently being taken to police facilities.
The operation concluded with five administrative citations for public alcohol consumption. Additionally, a woman was cited for disobedience and disrespect towards officers, allegedly attempting to incite others to hinder the police action. Those identified were between 30 and 50 years old.
After the intervention concluded, officers ordered the participants to leave the area adjacent to Plaza José Antonio Barrios.
