Santa Cruz de Tenerife is gearing up for a weekend packed with cultural, festive, and sporting activities spanning all its districts, offering events for every audience.

The city will transform into a vibrant public stage with an agenda blending Canarian traditions, music, folklore, sports, shows, and exhibitions. Initiatives such as popular festivals in Llano del Moro, María Jiménez, and Chamberí, the Fiesta de la Bicicleta (Bicycle Festival), and various music, humor, cinema, theater, and dance festivals reflect the municipality's social and cultural dynamism.
Canarian traditions will take center stage with the 18th Folkloric Festival La Era y El Trigo in Llano del Moro, the 2nd Folkloric Festival Manuel Alonso Trujillo “Kima” in Chamberí, and the celebrations in María Jiménez. Contemporary culture will be represented by the Tenerife International Film Music Festival (Fimucité), the Tenerife International Fashion Week, and the Anaga Humor Festival “El Carcajazo”.
Furthermore, active aging is promoted with Tardeo +60 (Late Afternoon +60), sustainable mobility with the 44th Fiesta de la Bicicleta, and training opportunities through Distrito Joven (Youth District), alongside a wide range of exhibitions, literature, performing arts, and cinema.
In Llano del Moro, the Suroeste Festivals feature the 18th Folkloric Festival La Era y El Trigo this Saturday, including a classic car exhibition, children's activities, and a performance by Parranda La Turronera. In María Jiménez, Saturday hosts the Children's Day and the Beer Festival Fair, while Sunday will see the Gala for the Election of the Children's Queen and Princess.
Fimucité launches its 20th edition with a free concert by the Pop Culture Band in Plaza de Candelaria this Saturday, performing iconic film scores. The evening will conclude with a DJ set by NAGOBA.
The Anaga district celebrates the first edition of the Humor Festival “El Carcajazo” in Valleseco this Friday and Saturday, with free admission and the participation of Canarian comedians. Public transport is recommended.
