The municipal Government Board has approved the contracting of this essential service, which aims to ensure compliance with legal parameters for the water supply. The awarded company will be responsible for sample collection, laboratory analysis, and report preparation to verify the status of the supply.
This agreement, lasting until 2028, represents an investment of nearly 100,000 euros. The company Cibus Sciencia will undertake this task, which in Santa Cruz already manages over 18,000 annual analyses to guarantee water potability.

The mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, highlighted the importance of this contract to ensure the verification and monitoring of the supply water's condition in the capital over the coming years. For his part, the Councilor for Public Services, Carlos Tarife, emphasized that the service is essential for permanently supervising water quality throughout the municipality and acting quickly in case of any incident.
