The intervention, with a budget of 73,000 euros, is estimated to last two days and will require the complete closure of the street for 24 hours, as well as a parking ban in the affected areas, which will be properly signposted.
Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez highlighted the progress in street maintenance to ensure more cared-for and safer roads. He acknowledged potential temporary disruptions in traffic and parking, assuring that the work would be carried out quickly and with all safety guarantees.
For his part, the first deputy mayor and councilor for Public Services, Carlos Tarife, emphasized that the road surface renewal is part of the municipal effort to progressively improve the condition of the municipality's roads, making them safer and more functional. He requested the cooperation of residents and drivers and adherence to signage.
The Department of Mobility and Universal Accessibility has informed that the works will affect public transport, with changes planned for the line 909 route. From 8:00 PM on August 26th to 6:00 AM on August 28th, this line will modify its route towards the La Alegría neighborhood, diverting via calle de la Marina, Arquitecto Marrero Regalado, San Isidro, Rambla de Santa Cruz, and avenida Francisco la Roche, before resuming its usual itinerary.
