The Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert at 15:50 hours about the collision between a car and a bicycle on the aforementioned street.
After classifying the call, the alert was transferred to the corresponding sectors, activating the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) and the Local Police.
The SUC coordinator assigned a medicalized ambulance and a basic life support ambulance. Upon arrival, healthcare personnel assessed and assisted the cyclist, a 56-year-old male.
The cyclist sustained a moderate head trauma and was transferred by medicalized ambulance to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Local Police officers regulated traffic on the road and carried out the corresponding proceedings following the incident.
