The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, in coordination with the Local Police, has designed a special mobility plan that will alter urban transport services on June 12th.

The measure, which affects the concessionary company Titsa, aims to facilitate citizen travel in light of the traffic restrictions planned for the pontiff's visit. To mitigate the impact, exclusive lanes for public transport will be enabled on Tres de Mayo Avenue and Fomento Street, in addition to a shuttle bus system.
Bus lines will undergo significant modifications, especially those operating around the port and Francisco La Roche Avenue. Various routes will have their paths altered or stops cancelled in the Salud-La Salle and Centro-Ifara districts. A temporary interruption is also planned for access to the TF-5 motorway during the day.
Regarding the tram, Line 1 will progressively limit its circulation, ending its route at the La Paz stop starting at 10:30 AM. Meanwhile, the taxi sector will have provisional stops on San Sebastián Avenue and General Gutiérrez Street, while other usual locations will remain out of service.
The local government recommends that users check official channels, such as the 010 telephone line or the institutional chatbot, for real-time updates on traffic and transport services during the event.
