The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has awarded the urbanization of Juan Marín Vives street, located in the Llano del Moro neighborhood, ending one of the last dirt roads in the Southwest District.

The municipal Governing Board approved the execution of the works, which will be carried out by the company Tomás Gracia Construcciones. The project, with a budget of 619,053 euros and a six-month timeframe, is part of the Suroeste Avanza program.
This action, long-awaited by residents and the educational community of the Matías Llabré Verd school, aims to transform the road to improve access, especially during rainfall, and equip it with essential services such as lighting and sanitation.
Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez highlighted the council's commitment to improving urban infrastructure. Meanwhile, the Councilor for Works and Infrastructure, Javier Rivero, indicated that the intervention over an area of approximately 1,750 square meters will fully integrate the road into the urban environment.
