The incident originated on the second floor of the building, requiring the intervention of the Tenerife Fire Department. Emergency teams had to rescue three occupants from the affected dwelling and another person with reduced mobility who was trapped on an upper floor due to dense smoke.
The Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the affected individuals on site. A 47-year-old male was transferred with burns and moderate smoke inhalation. Additionally, two women were taken to a medical center for mild intoxication. Four other people received medical assistance without requiring hospital transfer.
The emergency operation involved two Heavy Urban Pumps, an aerial ladder vehicle, and a command vehicle from the Fire Consortium, along with medicalized and basic life support ambulances from the SUC. The Local Police confirmed the total evacuation of residents and secured the perimeter, while agents from the National Police and Civil Protection volunteers assisted in support tasks.
After extinguishing the flames, firefighters proceeded to ventilate the building to assess potential structural damage caused by the fire.
