The replacement work will take place during the early mornings of Monday, September 14, and Tuesday, September 15. Nine double lampposts and one single lamppost will be installed, thus restoring lighting at several points along this important municipal road that had suffered damage due to traffic accidents.
The mayor of Tegueste, Norberto Padilla, highlighted the importance of this action to improve lighting and safety conditions. "The restoration of these lampposts was a necessary measure to improve lighting and, above all, safety conditions at various points on the TF-13," he stated.
Padilla emphasized that the City Council continues to work on improving public services and municipal infrastructure, coordinating with competent administrations when actions affect non-municipal roads.
For his part, the councilor for Municipal Services, Javier Galván, explained that the action will allow the restoration of lighting elements that had been removed after being damaged. "Ten lampposts will be operational again at different points on the TF-13, nine of them double and one single," he indicated.
Galván added that the choice of working hours also responds to the City Council's commitment to "reduce inconvenience and ensure that the intervention is carried out as safely and efficiently as possible," recalling that occasional traffic disruptions may occur during the early morning.
The Tegueste City Council thanks the collaboration and coordination with the Tenerife Island Council, through the Roads department, to carry out this intervention. With this action, the Consistory continues to advance in the recovery, maintenance, and improvement of lighting on the municipality's roads, aiming to contribute to adequate safety and visibility conditions for both residents and those traveling through Tegueste.
