Santa Cruz de Tenerife's Family Fest Consolidates Secundino Delgado Park as a Meeting Point

The third edition of the event, organized by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, attracted thousands of people with a varied offer of family leisure.

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, through the Centro-Ifara district, hosted the third edition of the Family Fest in Secundino Delgado Park, transforming this space into a vibrant citizen meeting point with a day full of activities for all ages.

The initiative, which had the collaboration of the La Arboleda Neighborhood Association, stood out for the high participation and the family atmosphere experienced in the Salamanca neighborhood. This event has consolidated itself as a benchmark for coexistence and enjoyment in the city.

The municipal official emphasized that this type of initiative reinforces a model of an open, dynamic city designed for people, promoting more vibrant neighborhoods, social cohesion, and the creation of accessible leisure opportunities for all audiences in open and nearby spaces.

The councilor for the Centro-Ifara district positively assessed the event's reception, indicating that the district will continue to support activities that foster coexistence, healthy leisure, and the revitalization of public spaces, strengthening neighborhood ties and community life.
Regarding attendance, more than 2,000 people had visited the venue by 2:00 PM, with an estimated total of over 3,000 attendees throughout the ten hours of scheduled activities.
The festival's program began at 11:00 AM with a storytelling session, followed by a magic show and a musical tribute. In the afternoon, attendees enjoyed proposals such as “Las historias de mamá,” the animation show “Alegría,” and a live concert that concluded the festive day.
In parallel, the park offered a wide range of workshops and thematic zones throughout the day, including creative activities such as artistic expression, balloon twisting, face painting, and giant bubbles. There were also family spaces with games, treasure hunts, inflatable castles, and photo zones, in addition to technological areas with video games and robotics, and a sports zone with proposals such as foosball, air hockey, mini golf, and LED ping pong, promoting active leisure and citizen participation.
