The ordinary session of the University Entrance Exam (PAU) in the Canary Islands for 2026 will be held between June 2 and June 5. The tests are structured into a general phase and an optional phase, aimed at improving the admission score.
On the first day, Tuesday, June 2, students from the Humanities and Social Sciences, Arts, and General modalities will take their exams. These include Spanish Language and Literature II, Foreign Language II, and History of Spain or History of Philosophy. On Wednesday, June 3, it will be the turn of students in the Sciences modality for the same general subjects.
Thursday, June 4, and Friday, June 5, will be dedicated to the exams for the specialities of each modality, covering a wide range of subjects such as Mathematics II, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, History of Art, Biology, Technical Drawing, and specific subjects for Performing Arts and Music, among others.
The optional phase, which is voluntary, will allow students to increase their admission score. The exact dates and detailed schedules for each subject and session are now defined, with presentations starting at 9:00 AM and exams at 9:30 AM in most cases.
Although an official date has not yet been confirmed, the results for the ordinary session of the PAU in the Canary Islands are expected to be published between June 10 and June 12. Subsequently, a period for appeals will open before the final grades are released.
