This Thursday, maximum temperatures in the Canary Islands will not exceed 32°C, with low cloudiness predominating in the north of the islands, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Regarding sea conditions, east or northeast winds of 5 to 6 are expected offshore, with moderate to strong swell on the northwest and southeast coasts. On the northeast coasts, winds will be east or northeast 2 or 3, temporarily variable 1 or 2, with slight chop or rippled sea. On the west coasts, winds will be variable 1 to 3, with breezes, slight chop or rippled sea, and a northerly swell of 1 to 2 meters.
Lanzarote will experience cloudy skies tending to become partly cloudy in the south and east during the day. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, although there is a low probability of locally reaching 30°C in the east and southeast. Winds will be light to moderate from the north.
In Fuerteventura, a predominance of cloudy skies is expected, clearing to partly cloudy in the south and east. Temperatures will show little change or a slight decrease in maximums. The probability of reaching 30°C in the east and southeast is low. Winds will be light to moderate from the north.
Gran Canaria will have cloudy skies in the north, below 900-1000 meters, with a low probability of light drizzle in the midlands. Other areas will have clear skies with occasional intervals in the south. Temperatures will show little change or a slight decrease, especially maximums on the southern slopes. Highs could still reach 30-32°C in the midlands of the southern, eastern, and western slopes. Winds will be moderate from the north, with strong intervals at the eastern and western extremities, where very strong gusts are not ruled out.
In Tenerife, the northeast, below 900-1100 meters, will have cloudy skies with clear spells during the central hours and a low probability of light drizzle in the midlands. Other areas will be partly cloudy with intervals during the early morning and afternoon in the north, south, and west. Temperatures will show little change or a slight decrease, more pronounced on the central peaks, where maximums could decrease moderately. Highs could still exceed 30°C in low-lying areas of the southern metropolitan area. Winds will be moderate from the north, with strong intervals on the southern slope of the metropolitan area.
La Gomera will have cloudy skies in the north (below 900 meters) with clear spells and a low probability of light drizzle in the midlands. Other areas will be partly cloudy. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged or decrease slightly, potentially reaching 30°C in the southern midlands. Winds will be moderate from the north, with strong intervals on the peaks and eastern and western slopes.
In La Palma, the north and east, below 900 meters, will experience intervals tending to become partly cloudy during the day. Other areas will be partly cloudy with some intervals in the west. Temperatures will show little change or a slight decrease, more pronounced in high areas. Winds will be moderate from the northeast, with strong intervals at the southeastern and northwestern extremities.
Finally, El Hierro will have cloudy skies in the north (below 900 meters) tending to become partly cloudy, while other areas will be partly cloudy.
