The newspaper CANARIAS7 will host a forum on Thursday, April 16 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on business management and leadership.

The event, titled 'What AI Reveals About Your Leadership', will commence at 6:00 PM at the Assembly Hall of CANARIAS7's headquarters in El Sebadal. Its primary goal is to examine the profound transformation that artificial intelligence is bringing to both corporate administration and leadership dynamics.
The day will begin with a welcome address by Matías García Brugos, CEO and General Director of Informaciones Canarias. Following this, Luis Alberto Díaz Dorta, General Director of Cajasiete, the event's sponsoring entity, will provide an introduction.
The main presentation will be delivered by Elena Méndez Díaz-Villabella, an associate professor at IE Executive Education and founder and CEO of enEvolución. Her talk will focus on hybrid leadership, an emerging concept where people and algorithms interact. Méndez Díaz-Villabella will discuss how artificial intelligence can be used to identify thought patterns, biases, and focus levels in decision-making, acting as a mirror to one's own leadership style.
With over two decades of experience in human resources management at companies such as HP, Capgemini, and Korn Ferry, Méndez Díaz-Villabella emphasizes that the main challenge is not technological, but rather one of leadership. She highlights the importance of formulating clear instructions and making judicious decisions in increasingly complex and automated environments.
The forum will underscore a critical idea: a lack of clear communication, both with people and with artificial intelligence, leads to less efficient and more confused organizations. This makes leadership development an essential factor for fully harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence. The event, promoted by CANARIAS7, is sponsored by Cajasiete and collaborates with IE Business School, and can be followed live on CANARIAS7.es.
