During the inauguration ceremony, the head of the Public Prosecutor's Office in the archipelago emphasized the need to address the arrival of unaccompanied migrant minors from a fundamental rights perspective. The new prosecutor advocated for an institutional response that is efficient, coordinated, and deeply humane to ensure proper care for these youths.
The address also focused on victim support, particularly in cases of gender-based violence. The Superior Prosecutor urged for the standardization of support resources across all islands, highlighting the importance of providing legal and psychological guidance to those reporting violence.
Regarding internal management, the necessity of advancing the digital transformation of the Administration of Justice was emphasized. The implementation of electronic case files and the improvement of procedural systems were presented as essential tools to provide more agile responses to the public.
