The Fred. Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike will hold its eleventh edition in Gran Canaria from May 14 to 17, solidifying its position as a UCI S2 event that will attract elite cyclists and local talents.

The island of Gran Canaria is once again set to become a hub for mountain biking with the upcoming Fred. Olsen Express Transgrancanaria Bike. Now in its eleventh year, this stage race is one of the most prominent in the regional calendar and holds the prestigious UCI S2 designation.
Over four intense days, national and international cyclists will tackle a demanding course that winds through the southern and eastern parts of the island. The event is expected to showcase local talent as they compete against a global field.
A significant new feature this year is the introduction of the Half modality. This format, designed to broaden participation, offers a complete four-day experience covering a total of 103 kilometers. It aims to retain the core essence of the race while making it more accessible to new participants.
The official jersey for this edition, designed by the Spanish brand Gobik, combines performance and symbolism, incorporating the colors of the Canarian flag into a design tailored for the demands of the competition. The event is organized by Arista Eventos, with Fred. Olsen Express as the main sponsor, and institutional support from the Cabildo de Gran Canaria through Turismo de Gran Canaria and the Instituto Insular de Deportes, as well as the Government of Canarias with Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida, the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, and Maspalomas Costa Canaria.
