The supermarket chain Lidl has withdrawn a batch of Deluxe brand Norwegian smoked salmon with pistachio, manufactured by Compagnia del Mare, from its stores in the Canary Islands due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.

This health alert pertains to a specific batch with an expiration date of April 18, 2026. The decision was made after routine quality controls detected possible bacterial contamination.
According to a manufacturer's statement published on Lidl's website, the affected units were sold exclusively in the chain's stores across the Canarian Archipelago and have since been removed from sale.

If you have purchased the product with the indicated expiration date, do not consume it. You can return it to any Lidl point of sale where you will be reimbursed the purchase amount even without presenting the purchase receipt.

The company has clarified that no other products sold by Lidl are affected by this consumer warning, with the incident being limited to the mentioned batch of smoked salmon.
The manufacturer, Compagnia del Mare, has issued an apology to all affected customers for any inconvenience caused by this situation.
