The Cabildo de La Palma, through the Peinpal Advisory Committee, has authorized the reopening of 42 commercial premises in Puerto Naos, marking a significant step in the town's economic recovery.

During the committee's latest meeting, approval was given for the opening of two new establishments in this coastal area, adding to the existing ones. Furthermore, updates were provided on the progress in sectorizing the orange zone and collecting technical information on a dwelling located in Costa Gris, number 3.
The island president, Sergio Rodríguez, highlighted the ongoing efforts to ensure that both residents and businesses in Puerto Naos and La Bombilla can return safely. This safety is guaranteed by continuous monitoring through the Alerta CO2 system, which provides real-time data on gas levels.

"These two coastal nuclei are safe for visitors, and Peinpal is making progress in opening homes and businesses under the established parameters."

Regarding homes, Puerto Naos has 1,163 authorizations, with one thousand already having signed the protocol. In La Bombilla, 58 residences are authorized, with only six pending document signature.
